What’s the Buzz
CORE CURRICULUM
We educate students in grades 4-12. All students receive the state required core subjects of Math, Science, Language Arts/English, History, Health/PE, and Art/Music. With curriculums created by seasoned educators, we incorporate a STEM education into our educational program. Whether it's robotics, mobile application development, or cyber security, our students will have a standard of learning and academic plan that will foster their love for computer science and technology.
GUIDANCE COACHES
We truly believe that no child should be left behind. You can provide a child with a great education but it doesn't negate the experiences that they go through in life. Through weekly group and individual Guidance Coach Sessions, our Guidance Coaches work with your child to keep them motivated, help with troubles that they may have when it comes to their education, and assist with dealing with life during these times as a young person.
EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENTS
No two students are alike and we understand that here at Wollingsford Academy. When a new students enrolls in our school, we conduct an state-level educational assessments. This allows us to see how we can best work with the needs of our students.
TUTORS
Traditional homeschooling calls for the parent to serve as the teacher. We understand that some subjects may at times be difficult for both the student and the parent. For a small fee, Preference can provide tutoring at a family's request.
